SCORING:

Division 1 Ladies & Men:

Each match is worth 24 points – 2 points per set [a championship 3 set tie-break is played where needed] ie 6 points per rubber. A straight set win is 6 points [two points per set plus two bonus points]. A win on a deciding championship tie-break third set is four points [two points per each winning set], two points to the opposition for their winning set.

All other Divisions - Ladies & Mens’

Only two sets per rubber are played 2 points per set, 16 points in total. To bring the total points into line with the first division an extra 4 points are added to each teams score making a total of 24 points.

The computer will adjust any scorecards where only 16 points have been allocated.

Finally,

Any score card which causes the Fixture Secretary an unreasonable amount of extra work - both teams will be fined 2 points. It is the responsibility of both team captains to ensure the card is correct.
